Owen Hindes is a 19-year-old independent filmmaker and photographer from New York.

Owen Hindes is a filmmaker and photographer based in New York. He is currently studying Film at Pratt Institute and specializes in cinematography, color grading, and visual storytelling. From an early age, Owen was captivated by cinema and the art of filmmaking, striving to create unique and compelling narratives that leave a lasting impression.

His short films, K1000 and The Bagel Heist, have earned multiple awards and festival recognition, showcasing his ability to craft engaging, visually striking stories. His work extends beyond film into photography, design, music, and charcoal drawings, where he explores emotion, texture, and the unseen details that shape a moment. His keen eye for composition and storytelling has also led to his work being exhibited in Sweden and Greece, along with receiving the MASS MoCA Grand Prize in its teen competition.
